01-09-11 - Kinetic Koffee is proud to announce the promotion of Kelly Brannon to the position of General Manager responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations.  Having proven himself as a skilled Roaster Kelly has shown the ability to take on more responsibility.  His passion for producing exceptional coffee coupled his attention to detail and customer service makes him the ideal General Manager. 
 

12/23/11 - We want to wish everyone all the best this holiday season as well as a happy, safe and prosperous New Year.  We are thankful for all your support in 2011 and hope that we have the priviledge to serve you again in 2012.  We know that without your support, Kinetic Koffee would cease to exist.  Thank you!

We will be closed from December 24 through January 2 to spend the holidays with our families.  See you next year!

12/06/11 - We are very proud to be named a finalist for the 2011 Small Business of the Year by the Arcata Chamber of Commerce.  The winner will be decided by a vote of the Chamber membership and announced in January.

11/23/11 - I noticed that some of my posts seem to have gone missing recently.  So I hope that everyone sees this one.

We will be closed Thursday, November 24, for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We wish all of our very valued customers a wonderful Thanksgiving with families and friends to begin the happiest of holiday seasons!

08/26/11 - Kinetic Koffee is proud to announce that we are the Official Coffee of the Interbike International Bicycle Expo, one of the largest industry events in the world.  The show takes place in Las Vegas, NV, September 12 through the 16th and attracts bicycle and outdoor companies from around the world, along with dealers, media and athletes.  Over 30,000 people are expected to attend the 2-day Outdoor Demo in Boulder City and the show itself at the Sands Convention Center.  Kinetic Koffee has been part of the event sinc

07/21/11 - This month's Special Roast is from the Cooperative La Providencia in Nicaragua.

07/01/11 - We want to wish all our US friends a happy Independence Day on Monday.  Kinetic Koffee will be closed to celebrate the holiday with family and friends, but we'll be back in the roastery bright and early on Tuesday the 5th.

06/20/11 -  This month’s Special Roast is from the country with the second largest coffee crop in the world and probably the most famous spokesperson, Colombia.  I enjoy Colombian coffees in the summer because they tend to have a lighter body, perfect for those warmer mornings.  This month’s coffee is from the Finca Tolima, located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the highest tropical coast mountain range in the world.

05/26/11 - Kinetic Koffee World HQ will be closed Monday, May 30 in honor of Memorial Day.  Of course, both Charlie and I will be at the Kinetic Grand Championship starting Saturday at noon at the Arcata Plaza.  We hope to see many of you out there.  Charlie and I will not be racing this year, but we will both be acting as Judges.

05/11/11 - I received new today that we were named one of the most Outdoor-friendly coffee roasters in the country by Adventure Journal Magazine!  They listed seventeen roasters from around the country who help the outdoor community while roasting excellent coffee.  Here's a quote about Kinetic Koffee:
