3/5/10 - Wow!  That last month flew by so fast I hardly had a chance to breathe!  And this month is promising to be more of the same.

Next week, I fly to Madison, WI for our fifth Canoecopia event.  I really look forward to this show every year because the people are just so darn friendly (I hope it's not just the coffee...) and it's a great chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones.  If you're attending, please stop bby our booth and say Hi!

2/1/10 - Hard to believe that it was February 2005 that we first took possession of our spanking new Deidrich roaster!  To celebrate this milestone, we have selected a truly special coffee for this month's Special Roast from Costa Rica. 

Here's some information about the coffee:

01/16/10 - First, thank you to all who called or wrote to check on us after last week's 6.5 magnitude temblor.  We made it through with almost no damage, but many of our friends in Eureka and Ferndale were not so lucky, with broken windows, broken chimneys and things flung from shelves.  You can see a video montage of some of the damage here.

1/2/10 - Charlie and I want to wish all our friends the very happiest of New Years in 2010.  We truly appreciate all the support you have given Kinetic Koffee over the past five years (yes, in February it will have been five years since we first fired up the roaster!).

12/24/09 - We are closed for the Christmas holiday to spend it with our families.  We'll be open again on Monday and roasting on Tuesday.

We wish all of our Kinetic customers the absolutely happiest holiday season and a safe and prosperous New Year in 2010!

12/15/09 - Thanks to our ever-eager customers, we have sold out of the Humboldt Holiday Roast in only TWO weeks!  That's the fastest we have ever sold a Special Roast coffee.  Thank you to everyone who ordered it, and my deepest apologies to those who missed out.

12/01/09 - This month's Special Roast is our annual Humboldt Holiday Roast, a fair trade organic Ethiopian Sidamo. We've cupped it at both light and dark roast levels. Light is bright & floral, dark is like dark chocolate w/citrus. For a limited time, you can specify YOUR favorite roast level for this exceptional coffee.  The light roast will come in a beautiful gold bag, while the dark roast is shipped in a silver bag.  Order quickly because this exceptional coffee is already selling fast and will not last long!

11/06/09 - Mark Ritz of Kinetic Koffee has been invited to be on a panel of local business owners discussing the challenges of entrepreneurship at a forum at the Kate Buchanan Room at Humboldt State University on November 10 at 6:30.  He will be joined by other local business owners representing successful companies in Humboldt County.  The other companies are Cypress Grove Chevre, Wallace & Hinz, Visiting Angels,

09/25/09 - Due to some health issues, we were forced to cancel our booth at Interbike this year.  Based on comments on Twitter and Facebook, it looks like we were missed!
