Things have been very busy here at Kinetic Koffee World HQ the past couple of months. I realized that it’s been a while since we’ve updated this section. Lots to cover, so buckle up! Let’s get the bad part of the program out of the way first: The Kinetic Koffee jersey has just been cancelled due to our vendor’s inability to produce. We are extremely bummed by this turn of events, and I apologize to all of you who had placed orders. We are looking for an alternate supplier, and I hope to have news in the very near future on this. On the good side, though, we will be getting the first Kinetic Koffee socks (by Sock Guy) by the end of this month! I will send photos as soon as I see the real deal, but if it looks anything like the sample below, I think you will love them!
The Kinetic Koffee Crew has been doing a bit of traveling again, spreading the caffeine word. In March, we displayed at the annual Canoecopia event in Madison, WI, where we raised money for the River Alliance of Wisconsin with a special roast. We stepped up to an inside 10 x 10 booth this year, and it was rewarding to talk to customers who had purchased coffee from us last year and loved it enough to buy more this year. We had a number of customers sign up for our Koffee Club as a result. Have you joined yet?
Then in April, the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, CA followed by the ROMP Swap in Cupertino, CA. At the Sea Otter, we were once again partnered with our friends from Thule as a sponsor of their Road Envoy Program. Even the torrential rains on Saturday couldn’t deter the crowds from sampling our coffees. It was great to see some of our dealers there as well!
The ROMP Swap was hosted by my long time friend, Vance Sprock of Cupertino Bike Shop. It was great to see a lot of old cycling friends from the Bay Area as well as meeting new friends. My brother even came out to help us at the booth.
Over Memorial Day Weekend, we’ll be in Paso Robles, CA for the Great Western Bicycle Rally, an annual get together of road cycling for the entire family. We look forward to seeing lots of our customers and dealers there! For more information, check out http://www.greatwesternbicyclerally.com/
