Last week, Charlie and I attended the Fancy Foods Show in San Diego, CA to scope out the action, eat lots of free samples, and see the latest from the Speciality Food Industry. We only spent a day, but what a day! It seemed like we couldn't walk more than a few feet without something delicious being proferred to us. Quite a change from Interbike and Outdoor Retailer! It was great to see a local Arcata company exhibiting, Cypress Grove Chevre, with their award-winning goat cheeses. We also saw a few things that we may bring in, but you'll just have to stay tuned to see what comes up next.
We're starting to get our travel schedule together for 2008 and it looks like the first trip will be to the frozen Midwest for Canoecopia, the largest paddlesports sale in the country. We will be exhibiting for the third year, and I am looking forward to seeing old friends out there. See you in March!
