On February 19, I had the privilege to attend the Grand Opening of one of our newest dealers, Kinetic Cycles, in Elk Grove, CA. What a cool name, huh? And what a natural partnership for Kinetic Koffee!
They are the newest Specialized Concept Store, and I was very impressed by the presentation - beautiful posters all over the walls, a really nice mechanic's area, and lots of Specialized product to drool over. They had set up a sweet Kinetic Koffee area to serve fresh coffee to the guests, while showing off the new Kinetic Koffee jersey and t-shirts. The place was absolutely packed from 4:00 to after 8pm. There was even an appearance of the Specialized Angel, taking a break from the Tour of California, where Stage 2 had just finished a few miles away in Sacramento.
I want to thank Bruce Kaiser and John Crews for inviting me to this great event. These folks really know how to throw a party! I have a few pictures from the event, and as soon as I can figure out how to put the rest of them on the site, I'll post them.
Next week, it's off to Madison, WI for Canoecopia. It'll be our third year at this huge paddle sport event, and I am looking forward to seeing old friends again. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood and say, "Hi!"
